The countdown is on for the Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards Dinner 2008 as companies from across Lanarkshire gear up for the business 'Oscars' on Friday 29 February.
The 2008 awards, hosted by Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council and South Lanarkshire Council, are being stimulated with the news that Coffee Express has become the main sponsor for the high profile event.
The awards give local companies the opportunity to promote their industry achievements to the wider Lanarkshire business community and celebrate their success with an elite group of local business people.
The 30 finalists of this year's Business Excellence Awards have now been identified and are looking forward to the Awards Dinner at which the winner for each of the categories will be announced.
Douglas Dickson, Director, Growing Business at Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire reported: "This year the quality of entries was excellent and it is fantastic to see traditional industry, new technology enterprise and community based organisations from Lanarkshire participating in the Awards.
