North Queensferry’s local business community is set to benefit with the completion of a new £2million waste water treatment works by Scottish Water.

The new works are aimed at improving the natural environment of the Forth Estuary.

One local business who is delighted with the improvements is Scotland’s national aquarium, Deep Sea World.

The aquarium’s Paul Francis said: "Anything that helps improve the aquatic environment of the River Forth generally is definitely worth celebrating. We'd all like to applaud the construction team's efforts in what was a difficult project."

Scottish Water say the project will deliver significant environmental benefits for the River Forth at North Queensferry, benefitting the local community.
