Although the Bellshill business is on track to hit a 25 per cent jump in turnover this year, Ron Hounsell, the firm’s managing director, knew that this growth had to be managed carefully and looked to Business Gateway Lanarkshire to help keep things on track.
He said: “Our Business Gateway adviser, Brian Cunningham, has been fantastic and has helped us out on a number of fronts. E-commerce was an area that we knew we had to pursue and Brian and the team have helped us adapt our website to make sure it works as an effective sales tool.”
As one of the largest independent water cooler companies in the UK, Cameron Water specialises in the delivery and installation of rented and purchased water coolers. The company delivers pure bottled mineral water via their own 100 per cent natural spring situated in Kingshill, Lanarkshire to any location in the UK.
A focus on environmentally friendly processes has been at the heart of Cameron’s success with a recent investment in a number of groundbreaking technologies ensuring the company stays ahead of the competition.
Ron added: “Not only can we refurbish the plastics on existing coolers but we can now manufacture our own bottles thanks to an industry leading piece of equipment we recently purchased from China. An internationalisation specialist at Business Gateway kept us on track with the contract negotiations which was extremely helpful.”
As a result of the company’s continued focus on the highest levels of customer care, Cameron Water secured a much sought after accreditation by the British Water Coolers Association (BWCA) in 2008.
